Spencer/Bogart Family History
The Spencer/Bogart side of the family began when Charles Spencer married Henrietta Bogart in Albany, New York on December 19, 1876. Below is a family tree that shows the generations from Charles and Henrietta to my grandmother, Edith Spencer. There is also a lot of information about both the Spencer family and Bogart family before Charles and Henrietta ever met. So, I have a separate page for all of the generations of each family before Charles and Henrietta. There are a few special pages dedicated to specific relatives. Hentietta's brother, James Bogart, was a Major in the Civil War and I have some family artifacts of his. Charles Spencer's brother, Alanson Spencer, was a sailor in the Civil War and I have copies of some of his letters.
